We began planning our wedding celebration four months before our big day of July 12, 2014. We envisioned a joyous occasion that placed particular emphasis on the word "celebration." We hoped to create a contrast of rustic elegance with sophistication and class displayed through impressive sights and sounds of a top rate band. We knew this meant enlisting the services of an experienced emcee, outstanding musicians and singers, and a cohesive group of professionals who could truly deliver. This perfectly describes our choice for the evening’s entertainment, Rembrandt of Fine Artists Entertainment.
　
We contacted Doug Waitman, who served as band booker, manager, emcee, keyboardist, and our point person. He was quick and thorough with his responses, exceptionally attentive to detail, considerate of our needs and very reassuring that they knew what they were doing. Cut to four months later the night of our wedding; he was not kidding! Our dance floor was - and we are not exaggerating -completely filled with people dancing from the moment right after our first dance all they way to when the venue kicked us out, with the exception of toasts and dinner service, all seamlessly announced and managed by Doug and his band’s direction.
　
Three months later we still hear guests say, "Where did you find that band?" and "That band was the best wedding band I’ve ever seen!" They looked sharp, acted professionally and played tight with true improvisational sound. Their preparedness, ability to perfectly perform various ranges of musical genre and their personnel’s multi-talented skills in instrumentation and vocal harmonizing is what really set them apart. Most of all they were fully aware of our setting, our preferences and in expertly handling much more than just the "set list."
Looking back, we couldn’t be happier with our decision in working with Rembrandt.
　
It was Rembrandt above all, which exceeded our ambitious, lofty expectations.
We recommend them without reservation and encourage anyone looking for a professional band to check them out…immediately!

"Rembrandt" was one of the highlights of our wedding. Our guests were very impressed and could not stop talking about the band. The band was able to play a variety of songs - true to the original artists. You guys sound so great that guests could not believe it was NOT the real artist. Thanks for learning our first dance song which was in Spanish. The "Evolution of Rap" was awesome and my only regret is that I wish someone had caught that composition on video. Without a doubt, we definitely would use Rembrandt again!

The very first thing we did when our daughter announced her engagement was to call you. You see, we already experienced two weddings and a debutante ball with Rembrandt and knew that the single most important vendor, ahead of even the venue, was the music and the performers. Our daughter Julie is 27 years old and has been to many weddings. She also is a professional dancer and loves music. She wanted a group that could captivate and audience ranging from their 20's to grandparents in their 80's. It worked: whereas people, especially the older ones, tend to leave the reception after the cake cutting, our 160 plus group stayed to the last dance. You worked with us to incorporate our family's toasts and tributes and tastes in music into your timeline while keeping everyone on the floor all night long. Your performers became part of the party. To say that everyone had a great time is an understatement. Thank you for making our daughter's wedding all that we hoped for and more.

Upon coming down from cloud nine, an email to convey my deepest thanks
to you and Rembrandt for helping create an absolutely magical and
unforgettable wedding reception for me and Phelps, our families and
guests. We are still all smiles here reliving by retelling, pictures,
and a few videos that were captured. Phelps and I couldn't have been
more thrilled with the bands rendition of Ain't No Song for our first
dance. In The Mood and Signed Sealed Delivered were electric as were
all the songs played that evening. It was a seamless evening of
wonderful hits. Thank you so much for your leadership that evening and
guidance in the planning process. It was a highlight of the wedding
planning process working with you.
Please express our sincere appreciation to your vocalists and band for
the talent, energy, and soul they brought to the night. It was a
celebration none of us will forget. Thank you sincerely as well for
your support and soulful accompaniment for my song to Phelps. I would
love to hear the recording you mentioned if still possible. It seems
to have had its intended effect on Phelps and was well received by our

Dear Doug:

I want to start off by saying how professional the whole process was from start to finish. You were very responsive to any questions I had and your play list was very extensive.

The night of the event, you and your band were on time, dressed appropriately and very friendly. Once you started playing, the room came alive with energy. More than once I was told, "I kept forgetting the music wasn’t from a CD". The talent and professionalism was superb. The singers’ energy level was never ending, and the way they engaged the crowd was masterful. I loved it when they got off the stage and sang amongst the guests.
