"We chose The Rembrandt Band (after considering five cover bands that our wedding planner had suggested) for three reasons: 1) the instrumental chemistry between the players, 2) the fact that the vocalists were also true entertainers who engaged the audience and 3) because of their breadth of material. Our daughter’s wedding was a mix of Millennials, Busters, Boomers and The Greatest Generation, so we wanted a group that could do spot-on covers of songs from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s all the way up to the latest hits. They even learned a couple of our 60's favorites that weren’t in their repertoire, just for us.
"Doug met with us twice to go over each song, the sequencing, and even the song list for recorded music during the short breaks. (This was a Christian wedding, so we wanted to make sure that only songs with lyrics acceptable to us were played.) Everything was coordinated, and Doug was a terrific emcee. Very polished, but sincere (he didn’t come off like a radio DJ, which was important to us.)
"By the way, the horn section was my favorite. (Live horns create a kind of excitement that nothing else does, and most people under the age of 50 have never even heard live horns. They were thrilled!)
"To put it in one sentence, the Rembrandt Band did a masterful job. The proof was in the compliments that poured in for weeks afterwards from guests at the wedding.

I have known for quite some time that I wanted Rembrandt to be the band that played at my wedding. In 2001, they played at my sister's wedding. In 2004, they played at my other sister's wedding. And finally in 2015, they played at mine. It was so important to have Rembrandt play at my wedding, that we even chose our wedding date because that is when they were available! I cannot say enough good things about this band. They are amazing! They have such a wide variety of songs to choose from, they really have something for everyone. Doug is so easy to work with. He kept in touch throughout the months leading up to our wedding. As our date got closer, he sent us an updated song list which we were able to select the song we wanted them to play. They even accommodated us by learning a song that wasn't on their list. That was our first dance song. Even closer to our wedding date, Doug stayed in touch to create a timeline for our event. A few days before, he called to go over everything with us. He made things so easy during a stressful time. Doug played the music at our ceremony and cocktail hour. He did such a wonderful job, he is so talented. At the reception, Rembrandt was just absolutely amazing. They have so much fun and get everyone on the dance floor. Our guests are still talking about Rembrandt and the fact they "have never danced so much at a wedding before!" At one point during the reception, one of the singers serenaded my Aunt with a Neil Diamond song, she was thrilled! Rembrandt really made our wedding special. If you want to have fun and dance all night, choose Rembrandt, they will definitely deliver!!

As you are aware, Rembrandt has recently provided the music for my 3^rd (and last) daughter at the Hotel Irvine.
Since you did such a spectacular job at our other wedding celebrations, my daughter felt there was no other band which she wanted to play at her wedding (and I was in total agreement).
Some of my friends and relatives were so impressed with your talent, they had you provide the music for their children’s weddings in the San Fernando Valley.
You and your musicians certainly did not disappoint ANYONE who attended. As in the past, everyone raved about the quality, the professionalism, and the song selection of the band. The dance floor was full from the 1^st song to the last. As a matter of fact, this was the only wedding I have attended, where the band was cheered on to do an encore performance after they said good-bye.
I am hoping that when my granddaughter has her wedding, that we can have you provide the music at that affair.

We cannot say enough GREAT things about Rembrandt! They absolutely made our wedding reception. We could not have received more compliments about the band. We, and everyone in attendance, were blown away by their energy, their ability to play all different genres of music, and read the crowd. Our dance floor was so packed we ended up dancing on stage with the band the entire night! All my local friends said they wish they had used Rembrandt for their weddings but Rembrandt was always booked! My sister is also using Rembrandt for her wedding and we as a family feel so lucky to snag them for the two most important events. You will make a mistake by passing over Rembrandt! They are worth every penny and Doug is incredible to work with.

It was such a pleasure to work with Rembrandt at the Bel Air Bay Club for our eldest daughter's wedding. Thank you for being so responsive and upbeat throughout our planning process. You and your team had a perfectionist, can-do attitude that instilled confidence in everyone. We were never disappointed.
We have never attended, let alone hosted, a wedding where more than 200 people tried to cram into the dance floor from the completion of the "father daughter" dance through the end of the night.

About 3 months into our dating relationship, we attended a wedding and did not sit down once as the band was outstanding. The night flew by and we found "Rembrandt's" card in our hands at the end of the night. A year later when we were engaged, "Rembrandt" was called immediately as we knew they were our Band for the "Wedding of the Century" that we envisioned to have. We had no venue or any other vendor booked, but we HAD to have "Rembrandt" in place for our wedding. Doug was extremely helpful, professional and incredible to work with through the entire planning process. He saw our vision. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and "Rembrandt" made the night! Our guests are still raving about our band and how they didn't sit down once throughout the night. The music sets were all different which kept our party going from start to finish. Each singer and band player had their own niche and if you closed your eyes it felt like you were listening to artists like Adele, Ed Sheeran, Gloria Estefan, Pitbul, etc. We would HIGHLY recommend "Rembrandt" over and over again as they are the BEST of the BEST and A+++ in talent and professionalism.

Booking Rembrandt for our annual End of Year Celebration was the best decision we made. The venue, food and activities are all important, but none as important as the right live band!


Rembrandt was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Their proposal and contract were easy to understand and Doug’s email and phone communication was always prompt, professional and courteous. We allowed the band to choose their own songs for the playlist and I am so glad we did. They chose the perfect songs to play at the perfect time. Our guests danced and danced all night long! I especially love that the band has so many different singers and can cover so many songs so well. It truly is amazing how much talent they all have.


I received dozens of emails and comments from our guests (and many during the event) saying how great the band was and how they made the entire event. As the event planner, I appreciated how they handled load-in and sound check easily and I had complete confidence they would start and end on time. The band assisted me with a microphone for our raffle and announcements and made everything so easy. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.


Rembrandt is not the least expensive band out there but they are certainly the best I have ever hired and worth every penny. When you hire them, be prepared for high energy, amazing talent and tons of fun. They are perfect for a wedding, office event, reunion or any kind of party where you want great, live, dance music.
